Your Practical Drivers License Test will look at your general driving or machinery operating skills
When you arrive for your Practical Drivers License Test you will meet your RTA Frontline Driving Authorised Testing Officer.
They will have a general discussion with you about your knowledge of the vehicle or machinery
After this they will watch you do an inspection of the vehicle before the practical drive or machinery operation occurs
During your practical test the Authorised Testing Officer will look at the following:
If you make a serious safety mistake such as not stopping at a Stop Sign or Red Traffic Light the Authorised Testing Officer may stop the test and you will need to come back another time
